Our activities are highly attended by California companies and there is not only one in particular that would be of specific interest. The unique nature of California’s products and growing regions, coupled with the immense entrepre- neurial spirit are a good fit for the many different type of activities WUSATA organizes. WHAT ELSE WOULD YOU LIKE TO SHARE ABOUT WUSATA? We want to let companies know that we are their tax-payer dollars at work! This is a program funded by the USDA’s Market Access Program but it does not feel governmental… by design. It is a program that is built with the understanding that a small company’s staffing levels may be limited to one or two person operations. It’s simple by design. Approximately 85% of the companies in the WUSATA program have less than 10 employees. We would love to work with associations and member organizations as well to help them bring these programs to their membership. WUSATA partners with many industry groups including chambers of commerce, farmers market associations, world trade centers and many other member- based organizations. We share a common ambition. We would like them to contact WUSATA so they can learn how we can assist them in providing another great tool for their members. There are many success stories to share, including companies we have identified at local farmers markets who were happy selling to their communities, who are now selling in many countries around the world.
