Chief Financial Officer

Leading Food Processor in the Central Valley of California is seeking a Chief Financial Officer who will be responsible for the overall Financial Operations and Management of our company. We area financially strong, private, family owned company with a long track record of success.

Reporting to the President, the CFO will be responsible for all Finance, Accounting and Tax functions, and will be a part of the Senior Management team. We are a lean company, so as the CFO you will handle many roles and be involved with all departments in the company. There is a seasoned Finance & Accounting staff to support the CFO.

Overall Management of the following:

Oversite/control/protection of assets

Financial & Cost Accounting

Financial Statements, Forecasts and Projections

Audit and control - internal and external audits

Bank Financing, Cash Management

Tax compliance

IT

SMC Participation

 

Requirements:

Highly organized individual with a degree in a related field and 5+ years experience as a CFO or equivalent.

CPA

Familiarity with managing IT

Currently living in Central Valley or looking to return to the area.

Maintenance Manager

The position will be responsible for supervising personnel assigned to maintenance functions in distribution operations for a food processor in compliance with OSHA requirements, as well as meeting customers' needs and requirements.

 Key Functions

 

  • Ensure timely repairs of all machinery pertaining to food processing.

  • Establish, document, and implement and maintain an active preventive maintenance program and schedule.

  • Give support to all departments when mechanical/equipment breakdowns occur in their areas.

  • Follow budget and control expenses.

  • Schedule, direct and ensure the training of the maintenance staff with regard to safety, proper procedures, and company policies.

  • Assist with procurement, storage, inventory control, issuing, monitoring, and proper training in the use of all equipment and parts used in maintenance. 

 

 Requirements

 

5+ years experience preferably as a maintenance mechanic, electrician, manager.

Experience implementing and facilitating a preventive maintenance program.

Solid verbal and written communication skills.

Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills

Good English communication skills both verbal and written; bilingual English/Spanish preferred

Working knowledge of PLC's

Strong leadership abilities

Union experience preferred.

Facility management experience a plus.

Auto CAD/Mechanical drafting experience a plus.
