HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER

Grower, processor & marketer of specialty products for foodservice operations and food manufacturers is seeking an experienced HR Manager. This position will be based in the Central Valley of California.

The HR Manager will oversee all human resource functions including support activities for Operations, Sales, Administration and Executive Management. The responsibilities include recruitment and staffing, benefit administration, compensation and payroll, safety and health, affirmative action, employee training and development and employee relations.

We are looking for an experienced, well rounded HR professional who can take full charge of the existing HR department and manage all HR tasks and supervisory requirements. Your overall goal will be to take the HR Department to the next level by participation in long term strategy and advising management on key HR issues.

Position includes a highly competitive salary, and full benefits including Medical/Dental/Vision, Flexplan(Section 125), Bonus, 401(k), vacation, and sick leave.

Requirements:

  • Four year college degree in Human Resource, Business Management or equivalent and 5-10 years human resources experience preferably in manufacturing environment.
  • 3+ years experience managing an HR staff.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.
  • Experience managing EEOC Compliance & Affirmative Action programs.
  • Experience with benefits management, including 401(k).
  • Strong people management skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Proven successes with strategic planning and management advisement on key HR issues.
